Day 4 brought the Warner Brothers Studio Tour! When we were searching for things to do, we kept running into the super expensive things to do like Universe (which I will do next). Then we thought of what might be taping! It lead us to this studio tour! Though, we didn’t get to see the Big Bang Studio, we did get to see alot and learn a ton from our tour. We even got to see one studio in person! But sadly, no cameras were allowed on set. (It nearly killed me to not take any pictures) The lights alone on the ceiling impressive!!! More than 50 pointing at the audience!
Waiting for our tour to start.
Our awesome tour car. Our tour guy was pretty knowledgable and funny. But our tour was not talkative at all…
Going into the “Jungle” area. Where they filmed some scenes from Pretty Little Liars, ER, and Jurrasic Park.
Hometown America was around the next corner. Most of the buildings had no distinguishing marks so they could be used in multiple movies.
The Full House house. Most of the scenes were actually shot on the Studio lot only like one or two scenes were shot on location in San Fransisco.
There was even a set up to look like a Chicago subway area.
“We’re animaniacs
We have pay or play contracts
We’re zany to the max
There’s baloney in our slacks
We’re animany
Totally insaney
Here’s the shows name-y (changes from time to time)
Animaniacs”
Buildings and even a subway looking area were not real. Just empty or went no where. It was neat to see and think about the different movies they have done.
They had a Batman area as well as a Harry Potter area to wonder through. There was also an area with all of the Batman cars.
At the end of the tour we were dropped off at the Warner Brothers Studio lot 49. It was basically an area that was hands on. There were different photo ops like the Friends’ Central Perk set. We also saw the academy awards, and even a learned a little about how to the movie/show came into being.
The lot also had a little video to show you the difference between words, sound effects and the music. It truly made a difference as we watched a piece of Gravity. (Btw is it good? I haven’t watched it yet)
I would like thank YOU for all of your wonderfulness!!!
The real reason we should Warner Brothers Studio Tour.
The rest of day was kinda boring with lots of driving, interesting new fast food places like the place with tacos and fries. The day ended with us arriving at our amazing, gorgeous bed and breakfast place just outside of Yosemite!
