So you’ve signed up for a Boudoir shoot… You’ve paid your deposit. You’ve figured out some 
crazy thing to tell your significant other where you will be and why you will show back up with makeup on. Everything is ready, except WHAT DO I WEAR?!? I swear it’s panicking. It’s doubt provoking. It’s … staring at your selection of lingerie and going “I can’t wear that for a picture!”
Okay, deep breath. Let me help… Deciding what to bring can be super hard. But really what you are picking are things that make him happy and what makes you happy.
If he loves you in a certain nightgown, grab it.
If you don’
t know what he would like the best, shock him, buy something brand new.
Yes, you can grab something from your collection of stuff, but make sure it doesn’t look too “old” if you know what I mean…. And Yes, you can go buy yourself something brand new for this shoot. Tell the ladies you are looking for items for a boudoir shoot and I’ll bet they will help you find some stuff you feel amazing in! Or research online — there are a ton of great places that you can purchase from including Victoria Secret & Agent Provocateur (I suggest cheekies or boy shorts if you are wanting an awesome suggestion for underwear.) But don’t just buy the nightgowns. Look around for a cute sweatshirt(link on left). Look at his selection of clothes (button up shirts!). Grab a white T-shirt or a Black one. Corsets (link above) are fun. Grab a garter belt, and some stockings if you want. Pick things that look good, that fit your body. If you have an area of your body you are uncomfortable with, find something that makes you comfortable.
I would definitely bring a newish-looking black bra, a newish-looking pair of black underwear and a pair of black heels.
And another thing, grab something that you wouldn’t mind people seeing you in. I promise you, he will also like you in a dress too..
One last thing, make sure you try it on. Look at yourself in the mirror and have that confidence that you can rock it. Confidence is sexy. Thinking you wearing something that makes you not confident doesn’t work for you. Make sure you are happy with it.
p.s. Don’t get too overwhelmed with outfits ideas, etc… you could always do a white sheet instead of an outfit, etc. *wink, wink*
