As 2016 winds down,

As 2016 winds down, it’s hard to believe another year has passed! In the world of photography, you always seem like you are in a cycle of sorts. Beginning of the year, you have such high hopes. The middle of the year, you feel like you are drowning in work (a good thing). The end of the year, you wonder what happened to the year all.
Maybe it’s because I have such high expectations for myself. At the end of the year, I look back and wonder what I did. I have tried to look at the new year with plans and goals and resolutions but in end the end, I still feel lost. So let’s start again….

In 2017, I want to…
-Invest myself more fully into my photography business.
-Attempt a self-portrait with photoshop fun-ness.
-Be able to play confidently in Photoshop.
-Read something that inspires me business-y and personally.
-Find balance with food, exercise, family and life.
-Cut down and cut out things that are not helping to keep me balanced and happy.
-Believe in myself more.
-Write.
-Do more things that make me feel inspired, creative, and refreshed.
-Create my own weather more.

It’s a simple list, but it means more to me than most resolutions I have wrote in the past. It also shows me how much I have grown in the past year. I know I’m not done, but I’m happy with my progress. It’s me.
