So this month, I decided to dive right into one of my Pinterest Projects for this year… Getting back into Watercolors. I should back up… Growing up my grandma B always was doing watercolor landscapes (One of hers is pictured below in the frame). They were so beautiful with tons of details and they just made me want to be in those scenes… Especially the ones where it looked like it was raining. I had experimented a little back in like high school and in college but I was just frustrated with my attempts. I prayed for the talent to at least make my grandma proud. I kinda gave up on all sorts of painting styles in college, but that didn’t stop my grandma and grandpa from believing in me and buying me different supplies for all sorts of painting styles like paints, and paper. They tried to encourage me. I started taking pictures and shoved that painting to the back. Sadly it’s been 4 years this month since my grandmother died. (Her husband the year before her)
This year, I want desperately to try to Watercolor in honor of them. I bought the 
supplies and pushed off starting til this past week. And since then I have been painting like a mad woman. I am surprised at how much I remember and how much I want to create something in honor of them. I know they are proud of me no matter what I do in life. But sometimes I wish they were still around to teach me more and to talk to me about this crazy need to paint something.
I went to Pinterest and started creating some of the ideas I saw and some I saw in my own head… So here they are.. Enjoy!
