6. Be more crafty. Create something monthly. — drawing, painting, Pinterest project.
As much as I love picking up a camera and creating amazing pictures, I also love being crafty. From drawing to paint to strange meals and many other things. Pinterest has been one of the best avenues for me in the last few years. When I got started on it, I started a Future Projects board. I swear I would add about 5-10 things a day that I wanted to create or try. I wanted to. And many of the Pinterest Links went to awesome directions… Others, not so much… It was frustrating at first, especially when I was crafting for my wedding. In the last year or so my craftiness has died off. I have started to not have time for doing crafty projects. I still would go to Firehouse Pottery and paint. Or go to RSVPaint and paint. But I would not create for me. I would not researching an idea on Pinterest and run with it. I would just pin until my hearts content and then not touch my boards at all. This summer they went through a major redo (which I’m still working on) I was trying to making more friendly for my clients and also for me. I just redid my future projects board and I’m so excited about getting started with it!!! I wonder what I will try next.
The plan is to try to find one project a month, whether on Pinterest or in Hobby Lobby and do it!!! Then after I’ve tried it, I’m planning to post it on here step-by-step. Let me know your favorite projects…. Give me some more ideas… Pictured are different projects, I have done in the past!!
