Every time I have a wedding at a new-to-me location, I can’t help getting excited. My friends, Phil and Casey chose to get married at the chapel at Hidden Valley Outfitters down by Bennett Springs. It is located outside of the park right next Niangua River. Even with all of the flooding the area, it was a beautiful location. Sadly I forgot to take more pictures of the flooding once the wedding got underway.
That day, it was so sunny perfect for a wedding day. The chapel itself was beautiful! Rustic looking and actually reminded me of the Silver Dollar City Chapel. I think that was because of the gorgeous windows at the front of the chapel.
One of my favorite parts of their wedding was the rope tying ceremony. It was so unique and beautiful.
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12
After we took a few pictures at the Chapel, we wondered over to the Bennett Springs Church Camp to their lookout point. And wow, it took my breath away! It was amazing… Perfect for some sunset shots!
