Part of the fun of going to a photography workshop is all of the amazing models that stand in, no matter the circumstances… Almost every night of this Denver Photography Conference was spent with a rain either sprinkles or pouring… For the most part the rest of the time was beautiful weather!!! And the best part? NO HUMIDITY!!!
Driving to the first shoot location, it was POURING!!! I wondered how many attendees would make it out and if the models would be willing to be in the rain. (Note to self: I need to buy a RAINCOAT and always bring my umbrella!!!) Well, we all showed up… in the rain… the models (Miranda and Brandon) too!!! Carrie (our main speaker) told us the couple was coming from about an hour away to be our models!!! How AWESOME is that!?!?  And her dress? was from her Grandma!! LOVE IT!!! The whole shoot made me dream and think about the Great Gatsby… Especially that hair piece!!! The feather! *drool*
I think we were underneath the pavilion for about 15-20 minutes before the rain suddenly just stopped… The sky was still super moody, but it made for gorgeous pictures!!! Carrie also bought some umbrellas to use just in case.
Miranda brought some beautiful heels to wear with the dress, but I couldn’t help but love the Flip Flop-ness going on instead!!! I can’t help it, to me they are so comfortable. Don’t be surprised that on the day of your shoot, I either have flip flops or end up barefoot!
