Part of me being a photographer is looking for ways to increase my creativity. To boost it, if you will. I don’t even want to get stuck in a rut of what to shoot next. So I have been taking part in a few creatives with some production companies around the area. At the end of July, I did one called the Circus Freak Show Shoot. Yeah, I know, it sounds a little not me. However, it peaked my curiosity and I needed to do it. So I signed up and ended up getting the later session in the day. I crossed my fingers and started waiting patiently for the day. Even found a few people that I knew who were going and got a carpool buddy.
On the day of the shoot, I started to get a little nervous. What if it was all not me? What if it was a shoot I shouldn’t have done? My friend Crissy from Springfield rode up with me. We spent the morning relaxing and chilling. Even ended up at IKEA for a little.
When we made it to the shoot, wow! The property was amazing!(Thank You Lipstick & Chrome!) And my good model friend Jen walked out of hair and makeup. It’s always nice to see people you have met before especially walking in not knowing anyone. From there the day, just got better and better! I made some new friends and pushed my creativity. It was an awesome day. So glad I was able to join in. Here are a few pictures from that day, just in time for Halloween!
