Business Book- October 2015

entreleadership Warning you now, Nonfiction books are one of the hardest things for me to read… With me trying to read a business book a month, I will try to post in the correct month or at least close to the correct month. Just no promises… lol

October’s Business Book was EntreLeadership by Dave Ramsey. My mom got me this book a few Christmas’ ago and told me it might have some good stuff for me and my business. Turns out she was right… It just took me a bit to read it.

EntreLeadership… is not only a book about being a Leader but it’s also about being an Entrepreneur. Reminding everyone reading it to have a dreams and follow them. Be a doer. Have passion and make goals. Be a doer. Dreams are okay but we need to take them and make them grow into our passion and then goals.

When creating a business, we need to have a Why and we need to show it. People want to know your way… (We just talked about that at the conference I attended this summer. And being more personable.)

Ramsey also suggested being aware that everyone does not act or want to know things like you. Give your descriptions in ways that people need to hear them not just how you want to say them. Be proud and passionate about those products.

All in all, it was a very interesting read. There were plenty of parts that applied to me as a single person operation all the way up to a huge operation. I can even see some of them in action at my jobs currently. And that in itself is interesting to me.
