FAQs

Q) The women on your website look amazing… What if I’m not?

A) First thank you! Second everyone one of them is like you, they looked at Boudoir photos at one point in time and said I could never look that good. During your session, I do not leave you alone I will help you pose you feet, head, lips, hands, etc. I got you. I will also give you guidance about your wardrobe, grooming, etc. for the day of the session. All you need to do is show up and TRUST ME.

Q) Where will my session take place? Do you have a studio?

A) Your session will take place at my natural light studio at my house located outside of Springfield, Mo about 10 minutes. On location session are welcome and just needs to be planned a little further in advance, but I love them! On-location shooting is available for a small addition fee! Just ask.

Q) I want you to photograph me but I’m not sure of my comfort level in lingerie or nude. Can you still shoot me?

A) Yes, most definitely. You don’t have to take off your clothes to feel sexy.  I mainly shoot implied nudity so don’t worry a bit. If you are feeling a little adventuresome, we can do as much as you feel comfortable with. On the other hand, if you are wanting crotch shots and over the top suggestive images, I’m probably not the photographer for you. Just ask and I’ll let you know either way.

Q) What should I wear?

A) Whatever you feel sexy in. That can be a pair of undies and a bra, a bodysuit, a t-shirt, socks, etc. It is really up to you. In a one hour session, typically I would plan on about 3 outfits to allow plenty of time for photos in all those outfits. Don’t stress about it too much. I could totally do a session with someone just in undies and a sheet. If you have more questions about outfits, just ask and check out the Prepping for Your Session.

Q) How much will I spend on a session with you?

A) The boudoir session is $200, which includes a $50 non-refundable deposit due at the time of your consult/booking. That includes the photo shoot, the retouching of your images and the in-person photo viewing for you to order your photo products a la carte. I would plan on between $500 and $600 for your session and photo products you desire. You might be shocked at what you cannot live without.

Packages are built on what clients most frequently purchase.

Q) I would feel so much better if I could bring my best friend with me.

A) Best friends are sometimes exactly what is recommended for starting out a session. Only one friend is allow in the area with you. I do ask that they let me do the posing with you and they don’t interfere with the session in that aspect. One idea if you want to bring a friend, book two sessions right after each other to cheer the other along. Think about the memories!

I do not allow boyfriends, husbands or spouses around the day of the session as well as children. I want you to be comfortable and ready to pamper. You deserve the time to be just about you!

Q) I’m ready for my session but I don’t want my pictures to be out there. Can we keep this between us?

A) Totally! I can understand if you don’t your images shared in public. No worries, your images will never be shared without your permission. If you do decide to share your images and permit me to use them all over the place, your name will never be used and I will NEVER tag you on Facebook/Instagram.

Q) Okay, I’m ready to book. What comes next?

A) Fill out this contact form. Then I contact you about setting  up a pre-consult to discuss outfits, times, and your session. At this meeting, we will discuss your contract about the session and your images. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at that time as well. I know it can be super intimidating to sign up with someone you have never met before to do a session like this. I’d love to meet you and talk over your session in person as we munch on Orange Leaf or drink Hot Chocolate.

If you are still busting with questions, send me it to paula@peacesphotography.com and I will get back to you ASAP!
